Desilter is tertiary solids control equipment used in the processing of drilling fluid. It is primarily designed to separate solid particles ranging from 15 to 45 μm from the drilling mud. Within the solids control system, the desilter is typically positioned downstream of the desander and upstream of the decanter centrifuge to isolate finer solid particles. The number of hydrocyclones configured in the assembly is determined based on the client's specific processing capacity requirements. Henyo Petro offers two types of desilters: the standard desilter without an underflow screen and the desilter equipped with an underflow shale shaker.
